How I'm Decorating My Bathroom For Fall (On a Target Budget)

Today, my OCD came through for the win! What was supposed to be a laid-back day of Netflix turned into an impromptu organizing spree. I ended up reorganizing my linen closet and adding subtle touches of fall to our master bathroom! Here’s what I got up to:

Let me bring you into my bathroom. I just finished cleaning up, and while I didn't want to bore you with a cleaning video, I did want to share how I'm warming up the space for fall. As you can see, it's very light and bright in here, which I love, but I just wanted to add a bit of warmth. What got me thinking about this was a tray I recently picked up from HomeGoods:

Some of you might remember that I had a marble tray, but unfortunately, I had too many things on it, and it broke in half, leaving a tiny dent in my beautiful tub. My tub, by the way, is from Delta, and as a Delta brand ambassador, I absolutely adore it.

But back to the tray—this new one from HomeGoods only cost me $19, and it's gorgeous! It's perfect for holding a wine glass, your phone (which I always have with me in its waterproof case), and maybe even a book. Though, let's be honest, the point of soaking is to relax, so I probably won't be bringing my laptop in there.

With this new tray in mind, I started thinking about how to make the space cozier for the season. I've got this acrylic table from Homary that I love, but I’m toying with the idea of replacing it with something wooden for a warmer look. Everything is so expensive these days, though, so I might just shop my home and see what I can find in storage.

I did make a quick run to Target and found a few gems in the Bullseye section. Let me show you!

I took everything out of the bag beforehand so you wouldn’t have to listen to that annoying crinkling noise. Look at these pretty pieces I found at Target! You wouldn’t believe the price—just $5 for this lovely piece, and $3 for another.

They came in three colors: a taupe, a green, and a burgundy. I picked up two because I plan to use one in our RV when I start decorating it for fall.

I also couldn’t resist this marble tray I found for just $9. I’m going to freshen up our bathroom counter with it because things were looking a bit flat.

I’ve also added a few touches in our water closet, including some faux dried grass and a candle lamp from Target. I’m still playing around with the arrangement, but I’m liking the direction it’s heading.

One of my recent finds was a little lamp that I shared in my last fall video. I found another one on clearance for $13, though it was missing the USB cable. These lamps have become my emotional support lamps—they're just that perfect! The three items I bought were all under $22, but they’re giving off that luxe look for less, which I’m all about.

I’m also obsessed with these stackable storage containers. I styled them on my sink, and they’re perfect for storing tiny items that tend to get lost. I split them up and placed them on that $9 tray I mentioned earlier. As always, less is more.

My entertainment closet was another area that needed some attention. I totally forgot I had this beautiful bronze vase, so I added some faux dried grass to it, which looks perfect for fall.

I also laid down a new rug from Ross to warm up the cold porcelain floor—another great find at just $19.

I refreshed our linen closet with some new storage boxes from Target. They have lids, which I love because they keep the dust bunnies out.

I added a little hack by putting some peppermint essential oil on felt pads inside the closet. It gives off a refreshing aroma every time I walk by, which has been a nice touch, especially since I’ve been feeling a bit congested lately.

Next to my soaker tub, I added more faux dried grass and a lovely candle that my soon-to-be daughter-in-law and bonus son gave me for Mother’s Day. I’m not really into pumpkin-scented candles, so this one is just perfect.

Trying to manifest fall into my life, I’ve been soaking in the tub while watching the fire on my LG TV. Some of you might remember this TV from last year.

Amazon sells similar models for much less now, or you could just get a $200 TV and put it on a stand for the same effect.

Our bed is freshly made, and let me tell you, if you don’t make your bed daily, you should start—it’s life-changing!

There are a lot of new faces around here, so I wanted to address something: this closet:

This closet is actually an Ikea PAX system. The previous closet we had was one of those bifold ones, and I couldn’t stand it. It was noisy and inconvenient, especially since my husband goes to work early. We decided to upgrade to the PAX system, and I love it. You can customize it with doors, frames, and drawers. Ikea also sells lights for the system, but I opted for some remote-control lights instead to save on costs.

This closet has been a game-changer for me. If you’re considering something similar, go for it! Just take your time, measure everything out, and plan ahead. We gutted the old closet, installed the PAX system, and had someone frame it out. I’m thrilled with how it turned out, and it’s so much quieter now.

You don't live in the real world, I like your bathroom, but who has the money for such a fancy room, I live on a budget and have pets, and kids try keeping a room like yours clean, let alone being rich enough to buy half of the things you have. Why can't you guys design homes for the common person we would love it very much.
