Cozy Fall Living Room Updates: New Light Fixture & Seasonal Decor

Hey friends, and welcome back to the channel! It's Rhonda here, and today we're decorating for fall in the living room. I'm also making a couple of updates, starting with a new light fixture.

But before we dive in, I want to give a special thank you to Homary for sponsoring this part of today’s video.

So, when we moved in two years ago, we hung up this crystal ceiling fan, but it’s been keeping the living room a little darker than I’d prefer.

Today, with the help of my handy, dandy, and trusty assistant (my husband—he’s my all-in-all!), we’re going to hang up an eight-light modern adjustable chandelier.

Friends, this thing is gorgeous! The wires are adjustable, so you can change the height to your liking, and what I love most about Shuggy is that he’s so particular. He doesn’t take shortcuts—he’ll measure and then measure again, and I really appreciate that about him.

Now, this fixture is made of metal and comes with 140 crystals. Yep, you heard me right—140! Some of them are clear, and others have this smoky color that I absolutely love. While Shuggy prepared the ceiling, I got to work unpacking the crystals. I decided to put them in baskets to make things a little easier on myself—working smarter, not harder!

As you can see, I’ve got everything unpacked, and wow, these 140 crystals are going to be spectacular!

Homary really has some beautiful lighting options, and when you visit their website, you’ll see that they’re truly a “magazine life enabler.” They offer something for everyone, and there’s a piece for every budget.

The design and quality of their products are comparable to a lot of higher-end decor items you’ll find out there. I’m especially in love with their vanities—they’re second to none! I actually have a vanity from Homary too, which I’ll be sharing in an upcoming video soon.

Now, moving on to the coffee table, I kept it relatively simple. I brought back out my brass swans, which I picked up a couple of years ago for $8 apiece.

I’m really enjoying the green accents this year—it’s the first time I’ve used green for fall.

It all started with those pillows I found at HomeGoods over the summer, and then the throws I picked up from Ross. Some of you might remember seeing those in a recent haul we did.

Friends, I appreciate all of you so much. I want to give a special thank you to Ruth, who found a gorgeous black-and-white pumpkin for me in her state and sent it my way. Ruth heard Shonda mention that I was on the lookout for another pumpkin in one of our recent hauls, so thank you again, Ruth—I really, really appreciate it!

As for the wagon, I almost took it out of the living room because, you know, I tend to get tired of looking at things. But it’s such a special piece, and I thought, "Rhonda, if you’re going to remove it, you definitely should have done it before fall!" It’s the perfect fall element, so I decided to leave it. I added lights underneath the wagon instead of all over it or on the tree. They’re especially for my granddaughter—she’s going to love it!

So, for fall, I brought in that green color, added my beautiful new pumpkin, and brought out my brass swans again.

Some of you might recognize the footstools here by the chairs—they’re not new, but I decided to bring them back out. And already, Shuggy is enjoying them—feet propped up, flannel shirt on... he's all set!

Thanks for joining me today! Let me know what you think in the comments, and if you’re inspired to make any updates for fall in your own home. See you in the next one!
