1. Entry addition

I added a little pair of skating shoes to hang on the wreath. I have a vintage crock set on a plant stand and added a little pine cone tree and little snow boots.

Then I placed a farmhouse pillow in blue on the cream-colored bench. I left the arches above the bench empty until next season when I will try to find something to fill it.

2. Console table

I filled my console table with adorable winter ideas. There’s a stand with a snowflake hanging from it, a candle on another stand, jars with stems that I got at Hobby Lobby. I inserted the small birds in the twigs.

3. Doorway dress-up

I have a little buffalo check curtain and a matching rug. The rug was originally in front of the fireplace. I hung a little lantern next to the door with a little battery-operated candle.

4. Hearth area

We took down our Christmas tree, replaced our recliner, and put a little cherished table there that my husband’s grandfather made long ago–I think it’s dated 1942. We added a small pitcher with carnation-type flowers and a wooden snowflake.

5. Mantel decor

I hung a wall hanging of a barn that was hanging in our bathroom during the holidays. The vignette is completed with little wood trees, candles, and a snow sign, all in the same colors. Everything on the mantel came from Hobby Lobby.

Below the mantel, I added a little sign “Home Sweet Home” and a little unlit tree in an old crate from my husband’s grandfather’s shop. One missing thing is a rug in front of the hearth.

6. TV stand

I added a “home” sign that I love. The decor carries through the cream colorway I used elsewhere. I had some creamy and neutral-colored decorative balls and arranged them in the wooden dough bowl.

I love to keep images of barn scenes on my TV along with some relaxing music to add to the cozy winter environment. Next to the TV I left my big lantern. I added birchwood inside the lantern instead of candles.

7. Sofa and end tables

I took off the green plaid holiday pillows and added black and white pillows and a black throw for winter on my cream-colored couch. Sofa tables are decorated with minimal items. I put a hurricane lamp with a battery-operated candle on one table.
