When I bought my house I did this to the closet in my bedroom. There was a bi-fold door that had been there for some time, and new carpet was put in the room. It was a little thicker than before, so every time I would open the door it would catch on the carpet and end up slipping off the top track. I got a black wrought iron look pipe, and dark colored shower curtains. WAY less stress - and is a look I can change whenever I like.
