Refreshing My Bedroom for Summer With a Blue Theme

Hello, sweet friend! Welcome back. No, this is not a repeat video you've seen before. This is my bedroom, which you last saw decorated for spring. Come along with me as I change things up a bit for the summertime.

Here’s my bedroom before, decorated for spring:

Freshening Pillows

Does anybody else like to air out their pillows in the sun? I love to put mine out there all day. They have such a fresh smell in the evening; it's just something wonderful. I've been doing it for many, many years.

Switching Up the Bedding

Do you remember the blue ticking set that I had in the guest bedroom? It's like a farmhouse style. Well, I'm going to change things up here in the master bedroom. I got three Euro pillows and had to pick up another pillow for the king-size bed and another cover. I'm putting this spread on, but I am just not loving it, so I'm going to take that off the bed. I really don't need all that extra on there for the summer.

Thrifted Decor for a Personal Touch

I don't know if I've shared this with you, but I thrifted this lovely piece from a yard sale. You guys know I'm just crazy about bicycles this year. I picked this up for $10, and I think it originally came from Hobby Lobby. I just love the light colors and the blue in it. So, I'm going to use this in my bedroom for the summer, and then later on, it will probably go down to our booth for sale.

Final Touches

As I make these changes, I'm filled with the joy of creating a fresh, inviting space for the summer. The lighter bedding and new decor pieces bring a breezy, relaxing feel to the room, perfect for the warmer months.

Thanks for joining me on this little bedroom refresh journey. If you have any tips or ideas for summer decor, please share them in the comments. I'll see you next time!
