What I Bought Vs. How I Styled It

Welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Brenda, and for today’s video, I’m excited to move one of my most loved series on Instagram over to YouTube. Hopefully, you guys love it. It's called "What I Bought vs. How I Styled It."

In this series, I'll be styling a bunch of different items that I've been collecting over the months, including kitchen items, entryway pieces, bedroom decor, shelf decorations, and couches.

I hope I can give you some inspiration for your own home. If you love neutral decor, definitely stick around. Let’s jump right into it!

Rustic Stool from Olive Ateliers

Starting off with the first piece, this beautiful stool from Olive Ateliers is one of my favorite purchases of the month.

I love its rustic look, and I decided to place it between two chairs. It keeps the space open and provides a spot to place a cup or snack without cluttering the room. I also believe Olive Ateliers is going to open their website for regular shopping, not just drops, so I'll link that down below for you.

Tea Corner in the Kitchen

Moving on to my tea corner in the kitchen. I love to style it up a bit more. I added napkins from Amber Interiors, which are always sold out, so grab them if they’re available.

I also added two of my favorite books: "The Kinfolk Table" and "Sunday Suppers."

These books have great recipes and storylines.

I stacked them next to the tray and used a small vase as a bookend to complete the look.

Studio McGee Pillows

In the bedroom, one of my favorite pieces from the new Studio McGee line are these woven nook striped pillows.

Though they are part of the fall collection, they work perfectly year-round, especially if you love neutral decor like I do. The pillows, which appear more like a dark brown in my home, complement my existing decor beautifully.

Michaels Picture Stand

Moving on to my hutch, one of my favorite finds from Facebook Marketplace, which is a discontinued Restoration Hardware piece.

I added a picture stand from Michaels and a frame to give the space more height. This simple addition really completed the look.

Marble Tray in the Kitchen

Back in the kitchen, I found a stunning marble tray in the bathroom section at HomeGoods, which I styled next to my stove. I added a vintage pot from Olive Ateliers for holding spoons, which fit perfectly.

I also placed our most-used olive oil and some garlic within reach for practical yet stylish kitchen decor.

That’s it for today’s video! I hope you enjoyed seeing how I styled my recent purchases. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below. I’ll see you in the next one. Bye guys!
