Cozy Fall Entryway Decor to Bring Autumn Warmth Into Your Home

Hello sweet friends, welcome back to my home! Today, I’m excited to be working in my entryway, decorating my arches, bench, and console table. Come along with me as I explore some of my fall favorites for 2024.

Entryway Inspiration

In my plan-with-me video, I shared some of my inspiration, particularly how they styled the bench. I’ll be trying that out in today’s video to see how I like it. So let’s get started!

I have a few things to hang on the hooks, and as you can see, I’ve added a new mirror above them. Normally, I have a fall-themed wall art print here, but this year I’m switching things up.

I found this mirror at Hobby Lobby on clearance for just $12.50! I love how it looks, so I’ll be keeping it up there. Now, let’s get into decorating the entryway for Autumn 2024.

Layering Fall Throws on the Bench

For the bench, I’m trying something new—layering a couple of fall throws. This year, I’m mixing all kinds of patterns and colors, from plaids to florals, to create a fun and eclectic fall vibe. So far, I’m loving how it’s turning out, but let’s see how it all comes together as we continue.

Adding Pillow Covers and a Pumpkin

I picked up a couple of pillow covers from Amazon this year, and I am loving the orange floral design. These pillows are going on the bench to bring in some extra warmth and texture. In the inspiration I saw, they used a large, tall pumpkin in the middle of the bench, so I headed to Hobby Lobby to find something similar.

Their tall pumpkins were priced at $39.99, which would have come to $24 with the discount—but they were made of styrofoam, and I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on styrofoam! Instead, I had a pumpkin on hand that, while lighter in color than I’d like, works for now. If I find something better later this fall, I might switch it out.

Basket of Gourds Beside the Bench

Do you remember all the gourds I found for just a dollar each at a local shop? I decided to place them in a basket I absolutely love. The lady who sold it to me told me her mother used to make these handmade baskets in Cynthiana, and I just couldn’t pass it up. It’s large and perfect for holding all my autumn gourds. I’ve placed the basket beside my bench to add a cozy, rustic touch.

I also turned on the lights on my little autumn tree, which I set to come on every day at 4 p.m. and go off around 10 p.m. The warm autumn glow is just so comforting, especially in the evenings. I got this tree from Amazon, and if you’re interested, I’ve linked it in my Amazon Fall Favorites for 2024.

Decorating the Console Table

Now, let’s move over to my console table. I’ve cleared everything off except for a wooden vase that I leave up year-round. I’ve also brought out my woven baskets for the bottom shelf.

The basket on the right holds some fall garland and an orange pumpkin, while the one on the left has a throw blanket (actually a tablecloth I used in the past!) that has a charming farmhouse vibe.

I’ve topped it off with a “Fall Sweet Fall” pillow from Kirkland’s, which I’ve had for years and still adore.

Adding Fall Florals and Pumpkins

For the top of the console table, I’m using my wicker basket jars from Kirkland’s, which I’ve had for years. Sometimes I use them on my mantle, but this year they’re staying on the console.

I’ve filled them with fall florals that I snagged at 75% off from Hobby Lobby last year, including lots of acorns. I’ll give you a close-up of the arrangement shortly—it’s bright, beautiful, and bursting with fall color.

My last addition is a large cloche that I got from Cotton and Crete a couple of years ago. My husband, Larry, made the base for it since it didn’t come with one.

Inside, I’ve added braided pumpkins in three different colors, along with some braided acorns that I picked up at Hobby Lobby during their clearance last year. It’s the perfect finishing touch for my fall entryway display.

That’s it for today’s entryway decorating! I’m thrilled with how everything turned out, from the layered throws to the rustic pumpkin touches. I hope this gave you some inspiration for your own fall decor!
