Today I have a really exciting video to share with you all. I’m going thrift shopping and I decided to take you along with me to hunt for some really cool treasures.

I like to spruce up my dressers, mantels, and tables around the house. It’s been a little bit since I’ve been to the thrift store, so I thought, why not bring you with me and see what we can find?

I have a really good feeling that I’m going to score some gems, and I’m super excited about it. So, if you’re interested in seeing all that I score today, keep reading!

So, let’s dive in without further ado. I wanted to share with you the pieces that I found. I think it took two days, and hubby was with me on his days off. We went to the thrift stores, searching high and low for some really interesting, cool pieces that we could add to our home.

Ideally, I was looking for furniture pieces like really cool chairs or bar stools, but I didn’t come across any of those just yet. That might be another video. However, I did come across some new accent pieces that I just couldn’t resist picking up. Let me share those with you.

First, let’s get the big ones out of the way since they’re the heaviest and the bulkiest. I found this gorgeous pedestal column. It’s a really cool piece. You can still buy these pieces today, but this one I found in a local antique shop.

I love to display a lot of sculptures and Greek busts throughout my home. I’ve been looking for a pedestal for quite some time. Sure, I could have purchased one off Amazon, but I found this one sitting there for only forty-five dollars, and I had to pick it up. It looks so perfect.

Next, I found a set of mid-century retro mugs. Initially, I passed them by, but on my second round through the aisle, I spotted this caddy of mugs. I usually don’t buy mugs—I’m quite minimal with them, usually having no more than four, all matching in color.

But these were so cool! The shape, the heaviness, the pottery style—they’re likely from the late 70s. There are no marks indicating who made them, but I just loved their unique shape. I got six mugs for only six dollars, including the caddy stand.

Then, I found a beautiful sandstone figurine of a woman. It looks like marble but is made of sandstone. It’s quite heavy and abstract.

There was a sticker with the artist’s name, but I can’t find it now. It fits right into my collection of busts and figurines. I wish it was a lighter tone, but I still love it and placed it on my mantel where it looks perfect.

I also found a charming little brass clock. I paid four dollars for it. It has a little door to insert a battery, but my battery died, so I need to replace it. I’m really into brass lately, and this clock adds a touch of elegance to my space.

I placed it on some books in my family room, and it looks so quaint.

Another cool find was a heavy metal fleur de lys paperweight. It looks a bit distressed, which I love, and it fits the French decor theme of my home perfectly. It’s a nice little accent piece that I placed on some books in my formal living room.

I also picked up a unique trumpet floral vase. It’s black vintage glass, likely from the 40s or 50s. I love its unique shape and lines. I placed it on my marble table in the living room, and it really elevated the space with its elegant look.

Additionally, I found another piece of black glass, which is a taco-shaped vase or dish. I’m not sure what it’s meant for—maybe candy or napkins—but I just love its mid-century vibe. I placed it on my white square table with some designer books, and it adds a fun geometric touch to the space.

Lastly, I picked up a faux reindeer antler plant. This isn’t vintage, but I found it while thrifting. It had a Target sticker and cost twelve dollars. I’m not great with real plants, so I rely on faux plants to add greenery to my home. This one is perfect for adding a touch of spring to my buffet counter that adjoins my family room and kitchen.

That’s all for my haul today! I wish I could have purchased more, but I’ll keep going back to the thrift stores and share more hauls with you soon. If you enjoy these hauls, let me know in the comments below.

I love sharing my finds with you, and I hope it inspires you to explore your local thrift stores, vintage shops, and antique shops. Thanks so much for watching!
