Have you been waiting for the Studio McGee Spring 2024 collection to drop at Target? I know I have and it hasn’t disappointed me.

You can’t escape the Studio McGee name in the interior design world these days and I love that their partnership with Target makes quality designer decor more affordable.

For spring 2024, I love the picks for kitchen and dining; these aesthetics are a breath of fresh air for the new year and season. Here are three of my favorite “looks” from the new collection and a few products featured in each, all of which are priced at $25 or under:

Warm, subtle neutrals

First up is this homey place setting, which combines laidback farmhouse-style gingham napkins and placemats with elegant gold flatware and green-tinted glassware.

4pk Basket Tan Gingham Napkins

2pk Basket Tan Plaid Placemats

I love the subtle neutral shades in the fabrics, the warmth this look has, and the versatility of the pieces. This same color palette would work for summer barbecues through to early fall suppers.

Two-Tone Kitchen Flatware Set Gold

I can see the gold flatware being paired with more classic or glam pieces for formal dinner parties, Thanksgiving, or Christmas dinners.

4pc Glass Drinkware Set Green

The green-tinted glasses are probably my favorite pick here. I would love to use these on St Patrick’s Day to serve Irish coffees, on hot summer days to for mint lemonades and mojitos, or simply for water with ice and a slice of cucumber.

Fresh spring blues

Next is this pretty blue and white scene, with the cool tones offset by the warm wood of the rattan caddy and furniture. The blue gingham tablecloth is so adorable and the blue tumblers and pitcher offer something a little different, I think.

60"x84" Oiled Tablecloth Blue Plaid

Blue and white is a timeless color combination for the kitchen, and it’s perfect for spring and summer. In the summer months, I would add accents of yellow, such as a bowl of lemons and buttercup-yellow tea towels.

4pc 14oz Acrylic Tumblers Blue

80oz Acrylic Beverage Pitcher Blue

Similar to the green glasses above, I love the blue glassware here, especially since the tumblers and pitcher match. The tint is so subtle but so classy.

Rattan Kitchen Caddy

I love the idea of a kitchen caddy! This basket-style caddy could be used for storing items like spices or condiments, it could feature as a centerpiece on the dining table (as above), or even function to easily move food and drink outside on warmer days.

Accents of gold

Finally, we have this simple setting, which is clean and neutral with a few gold details in the framed artwork, gold bowl, and tablecloth design. I love how Studio McGee has styled this; the gold accents add a little sophistication, but the scene still feels very warm and laid back.

60"x104" Textured Striped Tablecloth Green

The Target website says this tablecloth is green, but to me, the primary color is more of a warm gray. What do you think? The neutral palette and simple design are so versatile. This would work well as an everyday tablecloth.

12"x18" Travel Photo Gold Framed Wall Art

I really like this style of artwork; juxtaposing a shiny gold frame with a Polaroid-style travel snapshot, as well as playing with proportion and placement.

Perhaps this is controversial but I would prefer to recreate this look myself. I would pick somewhere meaningful to me, swap out the travel photo, and write my own message. That way, every time I look at the artwork, it will bring back memories of the trip. I still love the frame though.

Metal Wavy Bowl Gold

This gold wavy bowl might be my favorite piece in the entire spring collection. It’s eye-catching, it makes a statement, but it’s not overpowering. I can see it working well as shelf decor, as part of a coffee tablescape, or simply as a fruit bowl on a dining table, as shown above.
